You guys have to read this comment this joker posted, check it out under the link "Diaz vs Santos to headline Jan. 29th card" on The Lights Out Show. This dude claims that Nick Diaz is the one ducking Mayhem Miller and even goes as far as to call him "Nicky 'The Duck" Diaz" and says that Mayhem would tap Diaz in the first round.........Wow! That is either Mayhem Miller himself or a fan who clearly doesn't know jack squat.
True, Mayhem Miller would be interesting fight for Diaz but it's has victory all over it.....the better striker and better grappler is clearly Diaz although Miller's submission skills are no joke either. But the only way I see Miller winning that fight is if he wrestles him for 15 minutes and uses his submission ability as a defense.
But to say Miller would tap Diaz in the first round.......yea and people call me stupid. Thats has boring decision written all over it for either fighter.

you nailed his only chance for victory, unless maybe his striking matches well to get the stand up points. diaz ducks no one. quite frankly, i commend him on taking tough opponents he's supposed to beat. he should be stepping up in competition where he doesn't have so much to lose like what happened in the first noons bout. it's just so risky. like... cyborg?? are you kidding? that go has proved only that he can catch you. he doesn't deserve diaz. strikeforce needs to offer nick fights where he has motivation for. move him to MW and fight jacare, cung le, lawler rematch, whatever.

Out of those opponents Jacare would be the toughest opponent, and Nick Diaz is one of my favorite fighters and so is Jacare Souza soooo as an MMA fan loved to see it, as a fan of the fighters I wouldnt want to. Lawler could be difficult but I see that being a Diaz decision. Cung Le would be the easiest, I give Cung Le a lot of crap but....yea I dont see him beating Diaz.
If Joe Riggs wouldn't of lost to Jay Hieron a while back that fight would make the most sense and it would definentley motivate Diaz to bring out his best performance.

riggs terrible.... he's so far past being worthy, i don't care what he does. that's like anderson rematching ryo chonan-- the first loss is irrelevant any more. robbie's stand up has come a long way and i don't know if diaz could take robbie down, or if he would even try. i love diaz but i don't know. cung is pretty overrated even in stand up but he might hold his own on his feet with nick and again, will diaz even try take down? jacare would be his most skilled opponent but nick takes the stand up and unless jacare just controls nick GSP style, nick wins the scrambles and beats the BJJ master, i'm confident. jacare's ground game to me is like cung le's stand up. pretty damn good but so far from best. the UFC BJJ MWs would eat him alive, the wrestlers too. just my opinion.
