I haven't been too impressed with the show so far... kind of disappointed so far. We'll see how next week's show goes.

HATER!
It's early. Hang in there. But ya I was sad about Kimbo and that the big dude sucked balls.
I have hope. They sure hyped the crap out of it for as fail as it has been, huh?

roy nelson is an elite level fighter-- submitted frank mir twice in BJJ competition and is a very well rounded fighter with surprisingly a good gas tank. kimbo was pretty tense with the stand up. i honestly think if roy didn't get caught he would eventually pick kimbo apart in a striking match. i like kimbo, but he's kind of bad, even in striking.

On the feet, Kimbo looked to getting the better end of the stick, gave Roy a couple of good shots in there, which prompted Roy to take it to the ground. Roy's experienced shined in the fight.. but I'm not so sure Roy would have still won it on the feet. He's just a smart guy and knew when the time was to take it to the ground.
Now, I'm not saying that Roy wouldn't have still won it on the feet, he still very well could have, but Kimbo seemed to get the better end of it there.

i agree, kimbo was doing better. i just think roy's composure, experience, and movement would eventually get the best of kimbo's tense/stiff approach. however, kimbo connecting could be the end of anyone.
